Read in current RW the FCC is being asked to OK cap converters.Hope no one bought one yet.Also there is talk of doing away with the decoder only that LPFM and non=comms currently use and require them to have the full encoder/decoder.And finally a phase out of all the legacy units.If this is done the add on units will be worthless!!! .Are we having fun yet??Until all this CRAP,i mean CAP issues are settled,there should be an extension granted..All the diigital alert decoders units can be upgraded to encoder status with a software upgrade,so if you have their decoder only,you'll be ok should the requirement change.
