East Carolina Panthers?

Tonight on a promo for the Liberty Bowl, ESPN Radio said it was going to be "the East Carolina Panthers against the Arkansas Razorbacks."

Are there too many bowl games if The Worldwide Leader can't keep track of the teams?

BTW it's "Pirates." Now ya know.

YES! There are too many bowl games. When a team that went 7 wins and 5 losses (SMU?) gets into a ... supposed-to-be-perceived-as-a big bowl game, you know there are too many. It's all just a money grab supported by gullible fans who seem to accept anything. When did the number of bowl games balloon?
Was it ever just the biggies like The Cotton Bowl and The Rose Bowl? I wish they'd go to the other side to determine who was the worst team in College football. Have, maybe a better term would be force, the two teams with the worst records to play eachother in The Toilet Bowl. Now there would be real incentive to work doubly hard to avoid that game. ;D

Its ESPN radio what do you expect? Nearly every host on there has no clue about East Carolina. They probably have no clue where its at, what conference they play in, who there coach is. ESPN radio disgusts me.

I agree there a way to many bowls, but if someone sponsors it so what. There is only one game that matters.
