East county 106.9

Picked up a carrier w/lots of ac hum, in places like Navajo Road down to Santee/Gillespie area starting last
week. Mon A.M. the DSC show was rebroadcast. Carrier still on last night; went hunting. The
dropout-filled signal got strongest around Magnolia and Madison, El Cajon. As I went east, it suddenly
turned off at 10pm.(end of broadcast day?) Going west on I-8(El Cajon area), another audible signal
came in,weaker, this one rebroadcasting KWVE.

Coming down the 52 just a mile west of Mast, I picked up something Spanish on 106.9, then disappeared. I guess it was an Ensenada station.

Was heard erratically last two weeks, yesterday the MLB Radio feed was heard; as well as this afternoon.
Currently, a"Z-100" feed is being re-broadcast., as I type..

#1. In the vicinity of where Washington St. meets Dehesa Road(El Cajon) someone is re-broadcasting KWVE on 106.9 ,
24 hrs. a day. Low power, maybe a Ramsey with a brick amp.
#2. With a hum-filled carrier on Sunday, I located the signal coming from the side yard of a house on Van Houton
@ Washington. The typical 5' fiberglass antenna is fence mounted for all to see.
