Seems Lubbock has taken over this board.
What's happening in East Texas?

Lubbock board

We keep saying that a metro area of 300,000 deserves its own board, expecially given the traffic it gets on here. And there are some areas with considerably less population that get their own board. "Altoona / State College" Give me a break, probably 150,000 population max between the two.

Oh well - its up to the board owners. I'd like to see it separate.

Bill Davis Replies

I got this note from Bill:Hey Musicradio! My apologies for not writing as much as I should have. Saw that you had inquired about me on one of the radio-info. I've been meaning to post a quick hello and update there...just haven't gotten around to it yet. Things are great here in Washington....cool weather, wonderful mountains and seasides. Learned how to snowboard this last season. Busy running our speaking business...plus I'm doing some writing for a few international travel mags. I might get back in the radio biz, or maybe not....no huge hurry either way. Life's good...how about you? Bill

Quoting an earler post in the thread:"Received news yesterday that Garth Maier is returning to KTBB/KDOK to serve as Production Director."So what happened to Paul Kaiser?

Paul Kyser was studying pre-med while at KDOK. I'm very happy to say he is now devoting his full time duties to medical school.Dr. Paul Kyser.....has a cool ring to it.

You mean he is actually choosing a career that pays more than radio! I can't beleive it! :eek:Paul is a good guy. Good luck in your new career!
