EASTLAN’S FIRST SYRACUSE DATA RELEASED
Eastlan, the country’s second largest radio ratings firm, has completed its much-anticipated inaugural audience measurement study of the Syracuse, New York market. The data was fielded January 11, 2007 through March 8, 2007 and includes a sample size of 2002.
Syracuse is the largest market measured by Eastlan and is representative of the continued growth of the company. President/CEO Mike Gould said today, “we are pleased to provide service to Syracuse. It’s another indication of the changing dynamic in radio audience measurement. Significant cost pressures are forcing broadcasters to seek more cost effective ways to get audience measurement data for their clients. Eastlan’s economicalculture and our telephone-recall methodology seem to address that need. We are certain Eastlan’s influence will continue to expand rapidly and could potentially impact all markets not measured by passive electronic means.”
