Easy 93.1

Easy 93.1 in Wildwood indeed is a strange little station. I heard it for the first time a few weeks ago while vacationing in south Jersey. I saw somewhere that they are commercial free. Is that true? How do they make any money? What's its purpose? It's got to have a purpose, other than providing a genre of music not heard anywhere else not only in south Jersey but in most parts of the country. It sounds great. The music is great, but wow. Strange little operation. They even have those annoying song tags like the big AC stations do! LOL Anyone have any information on this station?
 
I sampled it a few days ago when the tropo brought its signal up my way, and I have to say that it's an awesome soft AC station. It sounded better than Sunny 104.5. This is how AC stations should sound like!
I also liked Fun 106.7 and Wibbage 94.3, and of course Wild 102.7. They have much better stations in extreme south NJ than anywhere else.

"Easy 93.1" was born after 93.1 was playing all-Christmas between October and December last year ...
Before that, they were simulcasting "The Touch" WTTH for many years ...
Ironically, 93.1 was originally an easy listening station when it signed on in the early 1990's as "The Docks" WDOX ...
But, soon afterwards, WDOX became synonomous as an alternative station ...
