Hello folks...Mike Bratton, Voice Guy here.

Well, I'm getting ready for tax-time, and now's a good time for me to sell-off some gently used, much-loved gear, that I just can't store or use anymore.

Not enough of me to use all the mics I have.

Also, I've got a few little toys in my studio that are in search of a good home.

SO...I thought I'd toss it out to you guys first.

I am selling...

AUDIO TECHNICA - AT-4050, including Shockmount - Almost new condition. I have used it a total of maybe a handful of times. I like it, it's a beautiful mic, it sounds great...but just not on my voice. It has been likened to a U-47. I'm not sure, as I've never spoken on one...but it does have a nice warm, rich tone. I just have a bit too much in the mids to make this mic sing for me. And, I'm always looking for the mic that I don't have to hassle with too much. That's why I stick with my 416. So, if you've got some time on your hands, and some extra cash, you'll be getting this mic for a super-steal.

2 MXL 2001 Condenser mics - They're Chinese mics...they sound pretty darn good. They're cheap. I have 2 for the price of half of one. 2 Mic Clips...one's busted, one's working just fine.

ELECTROVOICE RE27-N/D - This was basically the first mic I bought when I was getting into production. I went out to visit John Frost at KROQ back in the day, and this was the mic he used. So, it became the mic I used. I hate to part with it for nostalgia purposes, but it's never going to get used, and I know there's still a following for these mics out there. Want it? It could be yours.

KORG ELECTRIBE DRUM SYNTHESIZER/EFFECTS UNIT - This one is a quirky little drum machine that's been adopted by tons of musicians over the last few years for its interesting sounds and it's ease of use. It was featured prominently on Beck's Odelay album. When you hear it in action, you'll start to hear it in lots of recordings. This one happens to have one awesome thing going for it. It's signed by a host of Electronic Musicians. When I was working at Q101 Chicago, I had different electronic artists that came through our studios sign the back of it...instead of just signing some poster or something. It's signed by BT, Moby, Underworld, and Paul Oakenfold. The only drawback...as I was cleaning out my work-space before leaving ABC Radio in May of last year, I misplaced the Power Supply. Easily rectified with a universal power supply from Radio Shack. This is a true steal for the electronic music producer, and fan of any of the above-said bands.

PRESONUS FIREBOX Firewire Interface - 'nuff said. It is bus powered, but it's been problematic for me since upgrading to Leopard. It should work fine if you are able to run bus-powered Firewire devices on your PC/Mac. It also comes with the powers supply. It was working just fine with that even on my Leopard equipped Laptop...so clearly, it was just the OS that broke the ability to bus-power that particular device. Anyway, it's a great sounding box ( I actually preferred it to my Digidesign Mbox for audio output ) and is compatible with basically every piece of software out there. It comes with a somewhat outdated version of Cubase LE...and a drivers disk is included, although, just go to the Presonus website to get the latest drivers. It also will come with a 6pin-6pin firewire cable and 2 1/4" Cables ( maybe more if I can find them ).

That's all for now. These will go up on ebay this evening ( Sunday February 10 ), so if you're interested now, go ahead and email me for pricing.

They're all going to be very reasonable.

Take care!

Oh, my ebay username is mikeboo30.

Don't ask.

Well, as luck would have it, I've already sold most of the gear.

The things that are left are the pair of MXL mics, and the KORG Drum Synth.

Take care!
