I couldn't seem to find an answer to this on the web, & I wasn't sure who else to ask... I'm hoping someone here can help:
The song "AEIOU, Sometimes Y," by the group Ebn Ozn, released in 1983 from their album "Feeling Cavalier" on Elektra Records... it apparently didn't make it on to the Billboard Hot 100 singles based on my sources.
...Does anybody know what it DID do? Did it make it on the Top 200? Was it ever a "bubbling under?" Did it do something on the R&B or Dance charts? Did it do better outside of the United States?
I remember hearing the song on the local top 40 and LOVING it... I was shocked to not be able to locate it in my Billboard chart archives.
My web sources call it a "huge" MTV hit... did MTV publish any kind of charts? If so, where could I access them?
Thanks for any help with this; like I said, I wasn't sure who else to ask!
