1. Andy Ansola and Caribbean musical legend The
Mighty Sparrow have the exciting details on the
annual Broward Caribbean Carnival, 2005.

2. To Beat Generation writer Jack Kerouac

He could concentrate on his writing and hang with
his baseball buddies. Emmy award winning reporter
and author Bob Kealing has traced Kerouac’s
Florida connections in a new book,

3. Kealing will share the story with host Ed Bell on SFAB,
appear at Books & Books/Coral Gables later that
night and present an award winning film short on
the discovery of the lost DeWitt photos of Kerouac
in the sunshine state.

4. Andy Newman fills our entertainment calendar with
enticing events in the Keys and humorist Buzz
Fleischman knows where to find the money to
rebuild the Gulf Coast on The Radio Buzz.

5. It’s time again for the Ft. Lauderdale
International Film Festival. Gregory Von Hausch

gives us a preview of the 20th annual festival.
