Ed Berliner/DJ Laz

I was listening to Sedano this afternoon and heard Ed Berliner and DJ Laz from Power 96 on with him. They were discussing deragatory comments that Berliner apparently made Saturday about Laz and the Marlins Super Saturday hip-hop show. Does anyone know the details?

I was listening to Sedano this afternoon and heard Ed Berliner and DJ Laz from Power 96 on with him. They were discussing deragatory comments that Berliner apparently made Saturday about Laz and the Marlins Super Saturday hip-hop show. Does anyone know the details?

It started when Sedano called Ed's show on Saturday to defend the Marlins Super Saturday promotion. Ed took exception to the acts that night b/c of their lyrics. Sedano claimed it was going to be a radio edit show. Basically, told Ed his parents probably thought the Beatles were the devil and that music has been pushing the envelope on violence, degradation of women & drugs for 40 years. Ed went on a rampage & called those guys criminals. Sedano then explained about all the community related stuff those guys do. It was a great debate went on for 15 minutes.

Laz apparently took the audio from 790 and aired it on his show to applaud Jorge & rip Ed.

Sedano then invited both of them on the air today and they debated it with Jorge mediating.

Funny thing is when I heard the original debate between Ed & Jorge I came away thinking Jorge won. Today, I felt Ed obliterated DJ Laz.

It was good radio nonetheless.

I just missed the interview when I was able to tune in. But it proves that a good debate shows both sides of the story and allows you as the listener to form your own opinion from it and not base it on what 1 person says.

I listened to Berliner's show on saturday and when he had Sedano on and yea it was a good debate. I listen to alot of hip hop but not Flo Rida or Pitbull but I've come across their music time to time. Than Sedano's first segment for Tuesday was with Berliner and Laz and they both started debating...Yea it seems like Berliner took it and in alot of ways I agree with Berliner's comments. Alot of music now and back in the days are derogatory and insulting to alot of people and communities. Berliner was questioned about how in his time music was just about the same and he knows that. Berliner's supposed to be on DJ Laz's show tomorrow morning on Power 96 and to be honest..he might have won it on Sedano's show but when he gets on Laz's show hes gonna get killed. There's no one gonna be there to let them speak their mind equally and on Laz's show I wouldn't be surprised if he starts taking calls from chonga's and stuff lol.
