Ed Krampf's Slow Motion Fire Sale.. er, Partnership

I hear that, it reminds me of the school district where my kids attend. the outgoing super is blaming EVERYTHING on the economy situation, moving the spotlight away from the real problem - mismanagement.

That presentation in a nutshell shows where struggling media outlets, not just radio, newspapers for the most part as well - failed to implement the internet in a timely fashion to create another revenue stream. Heck, go to any of the cbs station's sites and describe them as 'lively', something that catches your attention. They don't update the information enough, probably one poor person responsible for the whole cluster's sites.

Well, I guess at Clear Channel the web department is on vacation and has been for quite some time. It's bad, bad, bad. Check their websites. They've got stuff relating to Halloween like it's something upcoming. Hey, we are already seasoning the turkey for Thanksgiving. Halloween was last month.

I guess it's bad everywhere. CBS, Clear Channel, Cox, Salem .....

You can't say one has it better than the other. I guess everyone is trying their best to be on top of things.

I can hate on CC for a lot of things, but their websites is not one of them. By far the best and most updated radio websites in Tampa. Wonder how long it will take CC management to mess that department up? ::)
