Ed Schultz Blasts Phil Boyce and Poor Management at WABC

The first thing Air America needs is a good sharp OD to teach those folks how to do good radio. They need more thank Jay Diamond to help them.

Re: AM 760 nightime operations

Surprised that KKZN is class B and not a class D. Then they could try to modify the pattern and get better coverage of the Denver metro at night. But that will be hard with WJR 760 Detroit, KKOB 770 Albuquerque, WABC 770 NYC, KFMB 760 San Diego, KTKR 760 San Antonio, and several class B 760's in Canada, etc. and the 750's including 750's in Canada.

We cover the metro at night. Problem is after sundown we have a strong signal to the north but not the south. The dial postion AM760 has no long term talk history having been a bunch of formats. So we have a real uphill battle. A lot of people don't even know we're here. Also I have a feeling a lot of people will tell ARB and others they listen to NPR because it sounds good. Another thing the people who listen to us have the highest income in the market. Do people like that really take time out to fill out an ARB diary?
