Ed Schultz bought by Randy Michaels

I thought that was apparent from your first post. Note the warm welcome and professional critique you received. This is standard radio culture and not unique to this board.
The writer of the article doesn't seem too knowledgeable either: "Michaels, formerly CEO of Clear Channel Radio, has been credited with the firm’s awesome radio growth". Clear Channel did not enjoy awesome radio growth while Michaels was CEO. If it did, it Michaels might still be CEO. The "awesome" growth was through acquisition which was accomplished, for good or for ill, by Clear Channel founder Lowry Mays. In fact, Michaels only came to be CEO of Clear Channel when it acquired his company, Jacor. Now that company experienced awesome growth.
Michaels is a prickly and combative S.O.B. in the tradition of Steve Jobs, Ted Turner and other creative entrepeneurial types. All three were ousted as CEO at some point in there careers. Michaels made a lot of money buying stations when licenses to operate transmitters ("sticks" in radio parlance) were the scarce commodity. Now that that alternate delivery systems (internet streams, mp3s, satellite) are proliferating the value of programminng (sometimes called "content") should increase in value.
So no, Clear Channel did not acquire The Ed Schultz Show. But in my opinion, should have.
______________
