I heard Ed Schultz mention on Tuesday he has begun airing on 1330 AM when he took a call from Youngstown, but I cannot get a confirmation anywhere.
The new owner of 1330 purchased via FCC auction purchased stations in Columbus in the same transaction as the one involving 1330 and two other AMs in the Youngstown market previously owned by Stop 26/Riverbend.
I relayed this development to members of Ohio Majority Radio, who are also very interested in getting a confirmation. If Bernard Media is aware of the loss of progressive talk in Columbus and the efforts to bring it back, their relationship with Jones Radio Networks (also Stephanie Miller's syndicator) gives a glimmer of hope that Big Eddie and Mama may return to Columbus radio later this year.
Thanks for any information you can supply. If you do not wish to leave the response here, you can leave it through my website, CleanLeft.com.
