Earlier in work today I was listening to the Air America live stream and Tom Hartman was on. Then I got into my car and started listening to 1600 WWRL AM and Ed Schultz was on live. Does anyone know if this change is permanent?
Not to fear, Schultz is a very suitable replacement. No offense to Hartmann or his fans but I enjoy Schultz a lot better as I feel he's more livier and funny.
There is an article in the Sac Bee that explains everything. While many of these stations have listeners they don't have national advertisers that in many cases are Pro-Bush, Against regulation and for the war because it makes them money. Why would they advertise on Progressive Radio.
Unfortunately, WWRL has also removed Lionel from their lineup. A very good program. Lionel is a NYC institution, having had successful programs on WABC and WOR, including the WOR Network. Hopefully, AAR will find another outlet for him in NYC
