When ed schultz on 1430 AM went to a commercial break I tuned to 680.Sexual Reassignment was the topic.Isn't that when the talk show host leaves the mother of his kids to explorethe chick in the advertising department?I'd write a song but Janet Jeghalian is tough to rhyme(OK, I did write a song, and e mailed it to Howie.)Maybe we can move Ed Schultz over to WBUR?To reiterate:Senator Barbara Boxer was on Ed SchultzHowie discussed Sex Reassignment.And you wonder why WBUR is getting the audience that wishes it could listen to Ed Schultz.

I was thinking the same thing as I tried to listen to Howie's show today. Howie had a concerted two pronged attack campaign when he was on the old WEEI/WHDH 850 to dethrone Jerry Williams for doing the same topics over and over again. Implying not so subtly that Jerry was doing this because he was old...about 59 or 60 at the time. When he wasn't doing that on the radio he was using the Inside Track sleeze girls to plant stories about Jerry and his young female acquaintances. Let's see...on the one hand "old" and on the "other" young females were attracted to him. That contradiction never seemed to bother old Howie who at the same time was in the process of dumping his "first" wife and "first kids" for a newer edition, namely Janet Jagelian's girlfriend, Kathy. Now, beyond the fooling around while attacking others for the same thing Old Howie seems to be doing the same shows over and over and over and over and over.....again. Has he become too complacent since his 'cut and paste' book about the Bulgers has come out or is it that age has caught up with Howie Carr. He complains he has osteoporosis, a softening of the bones, a disease which usually affects women first and men only when they reach their 80's. Guess, what you dish out eventually comes back to hit you in the face ... a lined and balding face to be sure but a face to be sure.Just like the Alec Guiness play, "The Terrible Scheme of Jebbly Deeks" someone is out there in the process of doing to Howie Carr what he did to Jerry Williams. Still, one hopes it will not result in the same tragedy, the rapid decline in health and death of Jerry Williams. As Jerry's daughters will say if asked what Howie Carr did to their father accelerated his death by many years.The awful truth. And now I venture the personal attacks on this poster will follow for stating the truth. So be it !
 
Personal attacks aside ...If Barbara Boxer was on one station, and another station had a pre-recorded loop of the EBS test signal, I would listen to the test signal.The reason this *ahem* sexual reassignment story is being covered on talk radio is because this piece of excrement murderer wants tax payer money (read: our money) to cover his *ahem* surgery. It is a worthy topic. What was Barbara Boxer talking about?

The EBS test signal is passe. It's been replaced by the EAS "bursts" (of digital noise).
 
Barbara Boxer was talking about the corrupt administration. The administration that Rolling Stone magazine's current issue says stole the Ohio vote. I would rather hear about that topic - the Rolling Stone article - than some thug wanting sex reassignment.If there were accountability - Howie Carr, Ted Sarandis and Virgin Boy Goudie would be removed from the airwaves for their support of the war. Oh wait a minute, Sarandis is pretty much off the air. Two to go!

don't expect that anytime soon- I have more writing gigs than I can handle. Of course if I did take over you'd still be out of a job and things would look/sound better.
 
I re-iterate: For someone who complains about Howie Carr CONSTANTLY, you're always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, posting about what he does/ has done, is doing on his show. Not just whhen it relates to topics that relate to the gay agenda either, regularly!. Ergo: YOU ARE LISTENING! HE WINS, JOE, HE WINS, AGAIN, and AGAIN, and AGAIN..................... You can him and haw all you want but you're still tuning in for whatever reason and your rationalizations mean nothing when you end up listening and worse yet consistently TALKING ABOUT THE SHOW. How do you not get that still? Howie gets under your skin, that is his job and he succeeds, end of discussion, next topic. ::)
 
yes, I tuned in for about 60 seconds yesterday at the end of the show because AM 1430 has the most AWFUL commercials and PSAs in the history of radio. But I am addicted to Boston's Progressive Talk. Yeah, Stephanie and Al Franken send me to 90.9 pretty quick, nik nik, but the only time "Howie Wins" is when i'm cruising the dial because 1430 has commercials or some stupidity.And lo and behold...like a broken record - days later Howie Carr is STILL talking about Sex Reassignment!And the 1 minute I listened in I have to agree with him - why should that loser get a free sex change?But yaaawwwwwnnnnn if you think I'm listening to Howie anymore than a couple of minutes a week, Nik,then you still think you have a chance of getting afternoon drive on your own merits. And that ain't gonnahappen...

Nik, when you use words of a pejorative nature it speaks volumes about you. Now that the jock shock thing is so passe', focus on the topic. I did listen to Howie Carr's chumpline today - there was a dreadful version of Bobby Hebb's "Sunny" in parody form. But when Max Robbins came on, I went back to Ed Schultz. So your opinion is incorrect - Howie loses. He has one segment that draws them in, but he can't hold them.If you call that success...well, what did your old friend say "Consider the source...
