Ed Sheeran-A Team

Weird enough, I heard some random street performer in London playing this in the subway a few weeks ago.
It's a great song, but I think it's just too slow for CHR. Given the Wiz Khalifa and Drake songs that hit CHR, I wouldn't say this is too dirty.

I'm hearing this one played rather frequently on Channel 96.1 in Charlotte. It might have a chance. I think it can at least do as well as "I Won't Give Up" (the remixed version) did, it's pretty catchy

WPVL Dubuque is playing it too. I don't think the lyrics are that bad, especially compared to some other songs on CHR.

Does this have a pop remix?

Not that I'm aware of. WHQC isn't playing it, and they typically play pop mixes when available.

I can see the need for a track like "I Won't Give Up" needing a remix, maybe (actually, it's more than a remix, it's a totally different recording), but this track is more up-tempo. Not sure if a remix would accomplish anything.

As far as content, there has been rap material way worse than this. At least this is suggestive and has more of a meaning than most of that stuff does...

Z100 New York for 9/24-9/30: at #18 for that period with 27 spins (one play ahead of Rihanna's "Diamonds" - just for reference).

^ That's weird, because I thought Radio Now was an Adult CHR the last time I heard it...

I mentioned this on the Cumulus CHR thread, but it seems like this song has been around forever and it's not peaking. Look how long ago this thread was. I loved it back in July/August, but it's seriously getting old now to me.

They lean to the rock side of things, but almost everything they play is current (not sure if that qualifies as "adult CHR" or not) - anyhow, they pitch songs faster than any other CHR I've ever heard, including Kiss/Charlotte
