Ed Wallison

Was sad to hear that a former co-worker of mine at WARD-AM passed away - Ed Wallison. According to his obit:

EDWARD J. WALLISON , 79, of Kingston, passed away, Sunday April 4, 2010, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Funeral arrangements are pending from the Kopicki Funeral, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston.

Ed lived up the street from my father and I would see him every now and then. He had a dry sense of humour and I'll remember him as the only guy who could pull off a "Christmas in July" show where he played a couple hours of Christmas music and actually get sponsors for it in the middle of summer.

RIP Ed.....
