Ed Walsh

Former KFYI News Director and Morning Man Ed Walsh is no longer the morning man at WOR/New York. All Access says he is out of the station after he could not come to an agreement with management on a new deal.

Question: If KFYI hadn't already filled their recent openings (such as New Director), would they have Walsh back?

Ed would not come back to be news director. He did that 20 years ago. He might come back to run the whole joint, but he left KFYI under less-than-amicable circumstances (though I believe KFYI was being run by the nimrods at AM/FM at the time.)

Ed is a talented guy. He'll land somewhere and do just fine.
