Ed Williams ( WKBG - WMUR )

What ever became of Ed Williams who in the 60's worked at WKBG (56) and then became news anchor at WMUR (9). Later he opened a broadcast school in Manchester.

In August of 1968 he pulled one of the zaniest stunts in the history of 1819 Elm St when he decided to TAPE the 11 PM news.

The old Ampex-1000 VTR betrayed him by refusing to lock up and the audio of the newscast was played with a color slide of Ed on the air.
