I'm sad to hear about Eddie's departure. We had some good conversations at ABA conventions, and he's just a generally all-around likable guy. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he decides to take on next.

You know, no offence wpiv, but I've called you out on this before. You seem to have some personal beef with Sandy, and I can't help but think you're either someone he's fired or someone he's destroyed in competition.
I'll direct you to your words of about a year and a half ago. You said (and I quote), "Sandy Sanford will drive those stations in Magnolia into the ground". You've also made very similar statements about the El Dorado market and the stations Sandy manages there. Yet everyone I've talked to seems to think the stations are doing better than they ever have, their ratings are up, and their sales are through the roof. If that's running a company into the ground, we should all be so lucky as to have our businesses destroyed in that way.
You can call me a "Sandynoid", a "Follower of Sandy", or accuse me of drinking his brand of Kool-Aid. Whatever the case, the guy has dominated the El Dorado market for the past 5 years, in spite of every prediction of his failure you have made. It's obvious the guy knows what he's doing. He's running God knows how many stations plus a newspaper and yet you still insist he's incompetant and is single-handedly destroying Noalmark from the inside out. At some point, this little sour grapes game you like to play becomes very transparent, even to people who aren't in the market.
Give up the whining already. It's very amateur and very petty. If you truly do have a beef with Sandy that you think everyone should be aware of, provide some evidence to back up your statements. Sandy's ruining Noalmark? Fine, produce some sales numbers, ratings numbers, or cash flow numbers to show that's the case. Otherwise, your accusations come off about as valid as saying, "It's a scientific fact that Sandy Sanford is a poopy-headed meanie!"
