Eddie Trunk loses XM Boneyard Radio show

Eddie Trunk Twitter
Sadly my show on Boneyard is likely done on that channel for now. Still sorting stuff out and will let you know more when it's determined.

Eddie Trunk Live & Boneyard
2/11/12: Sorry to inform everyone that it appears my satellite radio show Eddie Trunk Live will no longer be heard on The Boneyard effective immediately. As you all know if you listen to the channel it changed on Wed to "Ozzy's" Boneyard, with the Osbourne family now controlling it. Apparently my four hours of live radio with legendary artists as guests didn't fit in the plans. I was made aware of this on Thursday and have been laid up sick with a cold/flu so have not been able to learn much more. I want to stress this does not necessarily mean the end of me on SiriusXM and management has expressed interest in working something out,, however what's next is a question mark. I prided myself on doing all I could with extremely limited resources to host and produce a compelling show every week, with guests, requests, your calls, and a great variety of new and classic hard rock and metal. The amount of people I hear from who made my show appointment listening as I travel around the US was mind blowing, not to mention all the artists themselves who listened and came on the show. The list of guests over the years is just incredible. Again, I'm not saying this is a done deal,, but it appears to be for the Boneyard (or "Ozzy's" version) for now. I'll learn more about what options exist for me in the coming week and keep you posted. Moving to another channel may be an option but obviously it has to make sense to do the show you have all listened to and so greatly supported. Keep an eye on this space and my Twitter for news as I get it. Just wanted to keep you in the loop so you knew what was up when Monday rolls around and I'm not on Boneyard. Again, no matter what happens I am grateful for all the support! Also please note none of this has any impact at all on my weekly FM Syndicated show which continues live from NYC on Friday nights on Q104.3 and affiliate stations and outlets.

That makes no sense. All they did was re-launch the channel. Same music, same hosts. But now just the addition of the Osbournes.

Eddie Trunk
And if your asking why? Well really, is it not obvious?? You guys are smart & I'm sure can figure it out. More soon, thx for your support!!

“@osc207: @EddieTrunk did you say that Ozzy and Sharon now control the programming on The Boneyard?” that is true

@Grante_Manning: @EddieTrunk Does Ozzy or Sharon have something against you? Won't do TMS & kicking you off Boneyard?” honestly no idea!

Eddie just tweeted that his satellite show will still be on, just now on the Hair Nation channel.

By the way, I never really heard about the beef Eddie has with the Osbournes. What exactly happened?

Eddie criticized the musicians being replaced on Ozzy's first two albums, which Sharon had done. He's also said things about how Ozzy sings live now, but Eddie didn't criticize them that much. Ozzy doesn't do his shows.

SIRIUSXM SHOW MOVES TO HAIR NATION
2/12/12: Happy to report my show is still alive on satellite radio! As many of you know my show has been a fixture on the Boneyard channel since I started as an XM host in 2003. I was informed this past Thursday with the start of "Ozzy's" Boneyard as the new full time format of the channel, under the direction of the Osbourne family, that my show would no longer be included. Today, SiriusXM offered for me to move my show to channel 39 Hair Nation and I accepted. To me what is most important is I have the outlet to reach you guys and do my thing on Sirius and XM. Honestly they could have put me on a polka channel and as long as I could do my show you guys would find me. That I was confident of! Gladly Hair Nation is not a polka channel but a hard rock channel with a focus on 80's artists. Although my show has always covered some of that music and those bands, it is also much broader and will continue to be. I have also made no secret of the fact that although I like many of the bands of the genre, I h10PM ET. I also have nothing at all to do with the channel or it's programming outside of my show. No replays planned as of now but who knows where this goes and I''d love nothing more than for Trunk Nation to spread a bit more! I look forward to all my regulars from the Boneyard joining me and maybe finding some new folks as well. t's only one click up on your dial to channel 39 on both Sirius & XM radios. I greatly appreciate all the support. I have said for years it is amazing the people and artosts themselves who have made Eddie Trunk Live appointment listeneing for what I have to play and say, and the amazing musicians we have had on over the years. Happy to say that continues tomorrow! So join me for the first ever Eddie Trunk Live on SiriusXM channel 39 at 6-10P ET/3-7PM Pacific on Trunk Nation (at least for my four hours!). Thank you, spread the word, lets rock tomorrow!ave never been a fan of the term "hair band". So for my four hours a week Hair Nation will be Trunk Nation, and I will do the same exact show I have always done on Boneyard simply on that channel. A great variety of new and classic hard rock & metal, your calls, talk, discusssion, interviews, and special guests. All the things that many have come to love from my show and what I find to be interesting, creative and interactive radio. As usual the show will be live as often as my schedule permits, recorded when I have conflicts. No idea what the future will hold. Please note for now, like on Boneyard, the show will air only once, live, every Monday 6-
