SIRIUSXM SHOW MOVES TO HAIR NATION
2/12/12: Happy to report my show is still alive on satellite radio! As many of you know my show has been a fixture on the Boneyard channel since I started as an XM host in 2003. I was informed this past Thursday with the start of "Ozzy's" Boneyard as the new full time format of the channel, under the direction of the Osbourne family, that my show would no longer be included. Today, SiriusXM offered for me to move my show to channel 39 Hair Nation and I accepted. To me what is most important is I have the outlet to reach you guys and do my thing on Sirius and XM. Honestly they could have put me on a polka channel and as long as I could do my show you guys would find me. That I was confident of! Gladly Hair Nation is not a polka channel but a hard rock channel with a focus on 80's artists. Although my show has always covered some of that music and those bands, it is also much broader and will continue to be. I have also made no secret of the fact that although I like many of the bands of the genre, I h10PM ET. I also have nothing at all to do with the channel or it's programming outside of my show. No replays planned as of now but who knows where this goes and I''d love nothing more than for Trunk Nation to spread a bit more! I look forward to all my regulars from the Boneyard joining me and maybe finding some new folks as well. t's only one click up on your dial to channel 39 on both Sirius & XM radios. I greatly appreciate all the support. I have said for years it is amazing the people and artosts themselves who have made Eddie Trunk Live appointment listeneing for what I have to play and say, and the amazing musicians we have had on over the years. Happy to say that continues tomorrow! So join me for the first ever Eddie Trunk Live on SiriusXM channel 39 at 6-10P ET/3-7PM Pacific on Trunk Nation (at least for my four hours!). Thank you, spread the word, lets rock tomorrow!ave never been a fan of the term "hair band". So for my four hours a week Hair Nation will be Trunk Nation, and I will do the same exact show I have always done on Boneyard simply on that channel. A great variety of new and classic hard rock & metal, your calls, talk, discusssion, interviews, and special guests. All the things that many have come to love from my show and what I find to be interesting, creative and interactive radio. As usual the show will be live as often as my schedule permits, recorded when I have conflicts. No idea what the future will hold. Please note for now, like on Boneyard, the show will air only once, live, every Monday 6-
