URGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Your subject headings are killing me!
You're telling us about a story in the globe (which you didn't even link) about the prospect of him comming back, but he's not in fact back on the air.

Yes, this was announced a couple months back. According to Boston Radio
Watch it's at the expense of Calling All Sports.
Heard ad tonight..."Jaws" theme, and a clip of "He's a pure
eating machine" from that movie...
"Just when it was safe to turn on your radio.." etc.
And yes it was said a couple months back it would be in April.
"Sports comic" Mike Donovan is said to be a guest along with
ESPN's Chris Berman<P ID="signature">______________
I don't know what show YOU listened to but I rarely heard a good show with Dale and Eddie. I heard good shows with Dale, I heard so-so shows with Dale and a bitter Eddie (who liked to chastise Dale on the Bruins while he freely admitted he hadn't watched a B's game in almost 25 years), and I heard a WHOLE BUNCH of bad, bitter, mean and angry shows with just Eddie.
Eddie gives me yet another reason to not bother listening to 96.9.
um--ah... I think I know a little bit about the fact that Eddie is long past his prime. I loved the Huddle while growing up and it wasn't an infomercial for Eddie's business interests, casinos and giving air-time to bar owners and gambling/oddsmaker wise-guys. There was another article where he said he has no plans to reunite with Jim and Mark from the old Huddle. One wonders if there was a falling out there. I'd like to hear it once. And he's having a comedian co-host? Can you say Dennis Miller/Monday Night Football? Maybe the guy will be OK and I may check it out anyway.. after all, train wrecks can be intriguing.
we shall see...
by the way, anyone hear the imitations of Eddie on the Whiner Line on the Big Show? I imagine today's could be hilarious.
I'll give Eddie this much.. I'd rather hear him than Fred Smerlas
