Eddy got his start at the original WALE in Fall River. At one point he opened a bar on the site of the old Somerset dump on Wilbur Avenue...naturally a country and western bar. Station used to run a remote from there one night a week. Prior to opening the bar the show had come from "The WALE Farm House" which was a big room in J. Roger Sisson's house a short distance from the dump. The dump itself was originally part of a cut for the electric railroad that ran from Fall River to Providence via Warren.

i worked with him at WHIM. Nice guy....I never knew he owned a bar.doesnt surprise me tho.

I think so. I don't remember him on anything but WHIM & WJJF. They recorded a jingle for me when I was at WHIM. I hope that tape is still around!

Eddie and Richie were on WRIB 7 days a week in the 60's and then in between stints at WHIM they were on Saturday afternoons at 1370 when it was WMYD briefly in the early 80's and then they had a Sunday night show on 550 WGNG when that station tried a country format for a short time in the 80's.
