Editing Her Diamonds?

WSPA, Magic 98.9 in Greenville, SC is doing something interesting and odd. They have edited this part of "Her Diamonds" by Rob Thomas out entirely (I believe these are the lines, they may have left the 3rd one):

Oh what the hell she says
I just can't win for losing
And she lays back down

It's apparently due to the word 'hell'....but it's odd. Almost sloppy...they go from the intro straight in to the next lines. Are any other AC stations doing this? They aired the whole song at first but then they edited that part out in the last week. It is surprising, because they play other songs that have 'profane' language, such as Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" or even Kid Rock's "Picture."

I know. The only thing I can think of is the way he abruptly sings it at the beginning? Entercom can be rather strict with the editing where they don't even have to be. WFBC the CHR can be strict as well.

Are any other Entercom stations doing this? Maybe it's a company thing
