Edward Maya "Stereo Love" - Top 10 At Power 96 Miami

WQHT used "Stereo Love" again to mix with "Lie A G6" and "Pon de floor". I see they used Eminem & Lil Wayne's "No love" afterwards... which makes me wonder if they used the Haddaway version, or the Haddaway intro version into Lil Wayne's verse...

I swear there's something up with that Eminem & Lil Wayne "no love" / Haddaway "what is love" song in Atl because they surely play both songs a lot, and sometimes not even together! I wonder if Haddaway is even getting paid off of all this?

My understanding is that the songwriters are the ones who get royalties.

BINGO we have a winner!

And back to the subject, that silly "Stereo Love" song is growing on me. Jamz plays it quite a bit, and I was asked to play it at Macy's when I was spinning at the Mall this weekend. Then I DJ'ed a Sweet 16, and the kids said they wanted Uptempo music. Its funny, but thats how they understand what WE call "Dance"

Well, just received the press release in my email from all access/mediabase, and... I'll just say that based on what I've read, there is NO reason that every region should not be playing this song (especially if that region is a market within the top 10...) Yet, as of right now, there still is. :(

Let me clarify;
There is no reason why any region or market within the top 10 should be ignoring this song. At least, I personally don't see the reason, being that it's IN the top 20 charts. ...

Last time I checked Stereo Love is #1 on 92.3 Now with over 120 spins a week. It's bittersweet because it can only go down from #1. This station stopped playing We No Speak Americano. In late October/early November that song was in the top 5.

Well I've got to at least give them credit for playing both of them. I could name a few stations that refuse to play either of them.

I've been trying to figure out which version KZON has been playing of "Stereo Love" as it is certainly dancier than the original version.

I don't know, but whatever version it is, I do not like it. I was going to say something about it before, but never got around to it. It sounds like someone made a "cheap extend remix" and put an instrumental over the original, just making the instrumental longer than the song to make it an extended edit for club use, and KZON is using it as a record with a talk intro. I don't hate it, but just prefer the original over that extended remix.
