Efforts to interview Jubal Flagg fail

I am not sure what the deal is over at IHeartMedia but I tried through multiple channels to interview Power 96.1's new syndicated morning host Jubal Flagg out of Seattle. Got no response from iHeartMedia. The contact I had with Jubal was friendly but said they needed clearance from Power 96.1 to go through with it. Then he stopped answering my calls or responding to my texts. I'm literally just trying to give readers a sense on what he's about. Oh, well.

That's kind of strange. You would think he and Power 96-1 would want the publicity.

BTW, Jubal Fresh used to be Jubal Flagg. I guess he decided he no longer liked that name.:)

It was more than just "no longer liked." It was associated with some very dark times in his life, apparently, and the name change represented a - no pun intended - fresh start for him.

I'm sure Power 96.1 isn't terribly worried about their new 20-something targeted morning show being interviewed in the NEWSPAPER, or on a Facebook page that's only followed by disgruntled former radio people. Seems like a small slice of the population.

You probably got that right!
