Eileen Curran Out at Ch 4?

Report is that Eileen Curran is out at Ch. 4. Noticed that Bob Halloran looked rather upset on the Ch.5 Sunday Newscast last night which in not his style. He is Ms. Eileen Curran husband.
Any chance Ch.5 will pick her up or is there a company rule against that.

Well Chet and Natalie survived many years together at the same station...married to each other and anchoring together..until their marriage blew up and Chet eventually headed off to NECN.

Difference is, Chet and Natalie were the station's main anchors and superstars. Well, Natalie was the superstar, anyway. Neither Curran nor Halloran fit that bill.

Channel 5 could pick her up as a reporter.

She's not going anywhere. She's staying at CBS4 as a general assignment reporter.

Upset?
How did he look "upset." I find it hard to believe that any broadcast professional would let their personl emotions show through on a newscast. How could you even tell he was upset? Did he twitch his nose in some weird way?

Are you sure you aren't just making a presumption here? Because, I don't know about everyone else, but I hate when people do that. It makes us all look like a bunch of cackling hens around here (imho).

Good! The media digest I received in my email must be wrong. Sorry for passing it along. They are usually reliable.

As a matter of fact, she was covering a story this afternoon for Channel 4 (the Wareham fire, I think).

She does a good job at the anchor desk weekend mornings, as well.

I like her a lot and saw her tonight as well.
It might make an interesting pairing of Bob Halloran and Eileen Curran in the same format. Halloran has a nice Peter Mehegan quality which makes him a good match for any team.
Wonder how and why that rumor started. As you will read in my first posting I ended my subject line with a "?".
Guess, you shouldn't believe anything you read in the press.... ;-)

Or anything people post either...
