El Chulo returns to Border Media Austin... sort of

I caught a promo that says El Chulo is making a comeback to Austin. He was morning DJ at 98.9 when it was "La Ley, " Austin's #1 Spanish radio and for a short while Austin's overall #1 station. Now he apparently will be heard on 97.1, an analog translator fed by Border Media's KTXX-HD2 digital subchannel.

97.1 Carries "Fiesta Mexicana Internacional," which originates at XHBIO-FM in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. El Chulo's morning show is now syndicated. His stations include "La Raza" in LA and "La Ley" in Chicago.
