Looks like luis jimenez got his team back! Congrats, but x 96.3 still needs more bachatas, merengue and also el pacha, coco cabrera on the weekends if they wants to beat mega! Hasta luego amigos.

In fact, the only change to the Luis Jiménez Show is the addition of a traffic lady last month. She had been on at SBS, but was let go about a year ago.
WXNY is beating WSKQ in its target demo of 18-34.
Why is it we don't have access to the morning ratings? I would like to see how LJ is doing in the morning drive.......

That said, in mornings in the target of 18-49, Luis beats whatever is left on WSKQ by over 30%.

On a side note, I feel that David Eduardo's criticism of Juan Carlos Alonso comes out a bit too hard. While he is true that he was hired very egregiously as a Luis Jimenez clone, he eventually started holding his own as a radio host. And also, let's not forget that he had worked in Amor and in Orlando. Heck, Frankie Jay was hired because his voice sounded a lot like Moon's, and he was also made to imitate the voices of his characters. But he was very big in Puerto Rico, with over 20 years of work. He definitely deserved to get into that show. If SBS hadn't decided to treat him like just another Mequetrefe, he probably would have done much better. (And I hear he is doing a fantastic job in Puerto Rico, ironically in the SBS station that used to syndicate El Vacilón!)
I wonder if Luis will invite Moon back to the show. He definitely doesn't feel the contempt he does for the rest of the cast. Or another possibility might be Moon coming back to the island. But that might be less likely seeing that he's got a Costa Rican trophy wife in NYC.

The much rumored addition of Laz to WPAT may be on hold due to the very unimpressive early results in Miami and Los Angeles. They may want to adjust the content of the show before adding other markets.
He was still a clone, and he was sustained by the heritage of the station. Once the audience started to fall off, he was obviously shown the door.
