No TIS stations were heard at all during the day. An UNID NOAA (Pendleton, OR?) and WQBV569 Union Gap, WA (WSDOT) were on 1610 at night.

Our cabin used to have Dish Network, but due to paying too much $$$, it was taken off. The only TV channel we can receive at the cabin is KCPQ 13 from Gold Mountain in Bremerton. Hills block the Queen Anne stations like KOMO, KING, etc.

I could also hear the Boeing Field ATIS on 127.750 using my radio which has the air band. Probably 40 miles.

CISL never made it. KAPS was extremely weak. My radio was fine, but I guess the ground conductivity is bad in this area.

No Vancouver, BC stations made it on FM. Guessing that mountains and hills block it.

I used a Tecsun PL-660, which is now not working so well since the trip, because the tuning knob shaft is messed up and I can't tune anymore. I have to use manually pressing the 0-9 buttons to get to a station. Likely going back to the shop due to warranty soon. But it is a great radio!

Makes sense. I know the AMs get out pretty well up and down I-5 between Seattle and Vancouver (BC), but that's with some at least partial salt water paths. AS for KAPS, it probably doesn't help that they've got that "funky" antenna.
