Election Coverage

Every year, I am disappointed in the way they broadcast the results of an election. I follow the local results, and most of the time it is almost impossible to watch for the numbers. They put those results at the end of the list on the crawl line and lots of times they cut them off as they are going to commercial, or when they are putting a name of someone being interviewed, and the results I want to see are not shown.

They should have the results running constantly along the bottom no matter what is on, even during the commercials. Someone may say that then people wont pay attention to the commercials, but it would keep me from turing the channel to another network...

When I worked in Rockford we squeezed back all programming/commercials/local inserts and had results on the bottom. Can't understand why everyone was gathered around out TV's.

I'm in Rockford right now... We did squeeze-backs twice an hour during network programming with a ticker that ran the numbers.
