Electric FM-New Dance station (web Only)

The station sucks. I've known about it for a little while when they asked to be added to my webcasters list. All I hear is a bunch of remixes to Pop songs, and even some 70s Disco titles. Yippee ::)

Yeah, I listened for about an hour and gave up, they seem to skip the 90s and 80s flashbacks and go right to the 70s

Hi,
ElectricFM launched in February of this year, and is almost 3 months old. We play current dance hits, along with gold dance too. What we do differently is we play throwbacks from the 80s and 90s. You will hear the usual vintage Madonna and Janet Jackson, but you will also hear other throwbacks such as from Cameo and Stevie B. I am more than happy to receive feedback on the station and how we can improve it further, since the playlist is constantly growing and being tweaked. Overall, the feedback I have received on ElectricFM has been positive. We have a stellar weekend DJ lineup, and are adding another mixshow to the lineup this weekend. I have also revamped our throwback library within the last month, after some listeners provided feedback on throwbacks we should drop and ones that we should add to that library. I have been a lurker on the boards for awhile and have been following dance music for a very long time. I love the music and want to share my passion for it which is part of the reason for creating ElectricFM.

Re: Electric FM - New Dance station (web Only)

It's been 3 months since this thread was started about Electric FM.

Just wondering if anyone has checked out them out lately? I've been listening lately and they seem to have picked up quite a bit with the last few months. Their website is showing #1 rated on Live365.com in the Electronica/Dance genre. I logged into Live365.com just to see and sure enough they are #1.

I'm interested to see if anyone's views have changed since they first checked them out awhile back.

Let's discuss.
