Wow...now that we've spent a lot of useless energy talking about Knoxville's 2 brand new automated stations....how about an update on the Tri-Cities? Seems there always is a good bit of drama there!

Anybody got an update on Electric mornings? WTFM's PD? WQUT switching to all Polka? Rick Dees...the new morning guy on The Point...

Any news at all would be great...heck make it up...

for 355 more days!

Seriously though, it would be interesting to hear how
Electric is doing.

I'll reserve my comments on Earl and the "Automated" which
it is ABC Jack version.

Meanwhile, I think Nashville's 96.3 Jack FM is the breath
of fresh air of all of the Jacks. Just giving credit where
cedit it due. All locally programmed, etc in Nashville.

Isn't it all cloned (including Jocks) from Charleston?

There must be a difficult time to sell them...

I like K-Rock much more, but their signal in difficult to pick up in Abingdon as well as other parts of Washington County...well, I'm not a resident of around there, but have family.

Could K-rock do something about their iffy signal?<P ID="signature">______________
If a DJ talks into a microphone, and no one's there to listen to him, does he make a noise?</P>
 
It's strange, but I've heard K-Rock on 95.5 and 96.3 lately. Don't know if it has anything to do with the weather or anything like that, but I just thought it was awfully strange. I know they have a translator at 97.7, or at least they did. I haven't tuned in there in a while.

By the way, the new numbers are about two weeks away. Will the Rabbit continue to slide? Who will be number two, 'QUT or 'TFM? And, what of the Peak? Was its decent rise in the last book a fluke, or will it drop further and further into oblivion? The numbers will tell the tale.

I also heard that Steve Mann is now wearing a merman suit to try to recover from his fish bit! He has a hard time trying to walk in it and rides Taylor Morgan's stomach into places he likes to visit. The fin is where he hides his BIG LONG WORM that he uses to bait other mermaids! Taylor Morgan was last seen in a meeting with Steve and top guys at TFM trying to convince her to walk around the building instead of riding her bike in the building and having duane Nelson carry her everywhere! Why does Steve Mann wear that Merman suit....???? Seriously someone help him see that it is why to small for him and he should stick to wearing clothes that Dave Barnett has given him from the 70's!!

I heard that Izzy Real- a -Brother -President- Bush -Hates Black People..........is now recovering from his back trouble after the dance accident with Jinger at the smurf house of Papa Smurf...they meet at a rally when Papa Smurf was speaking about President Bush not liking BLUE PEOPLE! That is soo cool...I bet Papa Smurf is taking great care of Izzy and even letting him watch Smurfette undress!? That is really werid! Just got word that Z rock will become the next JACK-FM. Christmas Music starting in November and then JACK in January. That format will fly for about 9 months in the tri cities and then BB will take JACK OFF.
