I am an avid DXer, but my house has this lights on dimmer switches downstairs that produce loud buzzing noises on nearly all frequencies of my AM radio. We're getting our kitchen remodeled, and I thought that this was my chance to get rid of those nasty noises once and for all with some EMF shielding. The problem is, our contractor doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about. I need some handy information I can maybe print off the internet and give to him soon. Thanks for any help!

Or replace the $6 dimmers that are in there now with those that don't cause as much interference. But then it will cost near $30-$35 each.
Or maybe, if possible, string an outdoor long wire. That may help.
