Electronic Voice Phenomena

Anyone here ever heard it? I know that a lot of us like to listen to static and identify a weak station.
People have reported hearing voices of ghosts through the static between stations. They record it to tapes and play them back, and hear those voices. It's ridiculous what they believe. Tropo or e-skip can cause a "voice" behind the static. There are many websites about this topic.

You mean voices that sound like they'e off freq? Yea, I have- and I don't believe in ghosts!! ;)

Then again if you've been dx'ing too long without a break, you may very well be hearing voices that you THINK are there, but....

While most EVP can be explained through DX or Tropo, you cant rule out the fact that experts in the field often record disembodied voices by just setting a tape recorder in the room and walking away, or use a tape recorder in a haunted location, Using no FM or AM,,,,, ask the ghost questions, and get back answers. I know most of you are skeptics and wont believe me, but I myself have recorded the EVPs from a grave yard using only a tape recorder and a microphone. It is thought that spirits use electronic devices to manifest themselves, why do you think batteries always run dead when trying to record in a haunted location. Paranormal activity definately exists, now whether it is actual ghosts or not remains debatable, but you can explain away all the proof of paranormal activity just because you havent experienced it first hand.

Midwest......Did you hear Coast to Coast AM on Sunday night, talking about the Ionosphere and its relationship to human biological systems? When I heard the show I remembered this post. Could this have something to do with EVP? I don't know anything about EVP. However, 2 hours before sunset in winter when the skywave starts kicking in, I get that mid-afternoon slump w/ tiredness/depression. So I agree with the C2C guest (Gregg BRaden), that there is some sort of connection w/ the Ionosphere and with human emotions.

The Field, Miracles & Heart Emotions
Author Gregg Braden discussed the science behind miracles, the existence of an energy field that connects everything, and the power of heart-based emotion. Miracles appear inexplicable to the laws of nature as we understand them, yet they could be linked to the interconnected field around us, he outlined.

Our hearts generate strong electric and magnetic fields in our body which can change the structure of atoms; through heart emotions (as opposed to just thoughts) we contribute to the larger field around us, and can create peace and healing, he continued.

Recent discoveries about how the heart works show that it's in communication with the brain all the time-- a kind of coherence. Interestingly, he noted that the layers of the earth and its atmosphere (such as the ionosphere) share the same frequency as the heart/brain coherence. The Global Coherence Project is being developed to monitor how positive heart-directed intentions affect the field. Life affirming feelings help to perpetuate the field, whereas negative emotions contract the field, Braden suggested.

Thanks for that info. Yes, I am a regular listener of Coast to Coast, I really enjoy the Art Bell shows. I catch the show at least 2 or 3 times a week, anytime im awake late enough. It is by far the best and most entertaining of late night AM radio shows. Sometimes I listen via WHAS Louiville, and sometimes I listen on my XM radio, depending on which I have access to at the time. I think that very well could have something to do with it. Coast 2 coast is one of the last remaining quality talk radio programs available on the radio. Sometimes I also listen to the Midnight Trucking Network on 700 WLW Mason Ohio, those are my two favorite talk radio programs. I have heard Coast to Coast simulcasted on other AM radio stations, but im not quite as familier with the AM band as what I used to be when I was younger.
