Elle Duncan Out At V103.....Maybe.

Elle, apparently, is gone from V-103 according to Rodney. But his story reads as if he is not sure if that is true or not. He also mentions that Ryan Cameron is on vacation, so does that mean that they will realign their DJ's positions, again?

Anyway.....I don't really care because the people on V cannot say a word in right english without giving it the urban flair.

Also, she was not on the atlanta falcons radio this year. Is that because she is on cbs and not lincoln financial?

Uggh, Rashan Ali was way better teamed up with Ryan. However, Ryan, Elle and Crash D talk waaaaaay too much. Her profile is no longer on the website.

Elle is gone from CBS Radio Atlanta. Her 2-year contract was not renewed. It's messed up that it occurred prior to the holidays though.

The afternoon time slot is basically Ryan's outlet for him not hosting mornings, thus the long breaks to talk and be silly. Ryan will be fine in the afternoons and Crash Clark will likely step up his role on the mic now. Yeah, Ryan and Rashan had better chemistry because they were closer in age than him and Elle.

Oh yeah, Ryan's contract is up for renewal next year as well. The one thing that seems to be looming is the obvious shift that is on the horizon with the overall station's line-up of personalities. Frank and Wanda hasn't been the same since Miss Sophia, which was an amusing element to have on the show (regardless how people felt about Joe Booker). Their ratings are steady, but not as strong in the mornings as they used to be and it's starting to show...

One thing that i will say about CBS Radio Executive Reggie Rouse is that even with the success of V-103 he shakes things up. The station has constant line up shifts. The 10pm-2am slot is still open after what almost 3 years. I hear you Reggie.

Yeah, Reggie Rouse has been making some major moves with V-103. The Quiet Storm has been jockless for about 2 years now. Joyce Littel departed (on her own accord rather than take a salary cut) in late January 2010. However, they shifted Bubby Love's shift to back an hour to 1-6am, so the last hour of the Quiet Storm is covered by him. If they ever do decide to fill the Quiet Storm spot then Terry Bello will be the likely candidate. He already hosts the "R&B and Soul Sunday" program that airs every Sunday from noon to 3am, and seems to do a damn good job doing so with the deep cuts of contemporary and classic soul not heard elsewhere in Atlanta radio except on WCLK.

Reggie programs a very shaky station, but it is still #2........meaning the public cares more for the music, which doesn't really surprise me, look at Atlanta's demographics. That is not to say that he programs a good station!

I would beg to differ on that front of musical programming. I've spent enough time in other cities with urban and rhythmic crossover stations from DC to San Francisco Bay Area to NYC to LA, and V-103 actually is one of the better programmed ones. KMEL in San Francisco is probably the best programmed urban in the US at the moment, and its demographics is actually 7.2% black.

V-103 runs a very close 2nd in musical programming. If you aren't fond of the personalities that is fine because most people have their individual issues with 1 or 2 personalities on air on V, but programming wise they run circles around Kiss, Majic, and even Hot. Otherwise, those stations would have dominated the market upon PPM came on the scene.

I have to agree with K-Man. V-103 has always been the New York Yankees of Atlanta radio. Also, I feel Reggie Rouse always stays aware of where everything and everybody on the station are in terms of their life cycle, and stays prepared for the future.

Hey I am an outsider I live in Maryland(DMV) Frank Ski`s old stomping ground "ironically" i was just making an observation about Reggie Rouse. I do not know the interworking`s of the Atlanta radio market.
