This guy wasted a bunch of time and money going after radio and record labels for payola. Meanwhile, we all know the government is the biggest offender of taking payola. And, now this hypocrit gets caught in a prostitution ring. Karma's a bitch.

You write just like those whining Wallstreet yuppies that live in my building. They too thought that education and position exempted them from certain laws and resented someone setting them straight.

Disclaimer: I live barely two blocks from Spitzer, have met him at Democratic functions and feel that he was one of the best AG's New York (or any state) has had. His huge [EDIT]
ego has ruined a brilliant public career.

I walked by his apartment house on the way home last night. The encampment of local/national media was unreal, even for this area. Why, there were almost as many sat uplink trucks as when that actor croaked a couple of months ago....almost. (his funeral was on 81st and madison).

Set them straight? Spitzer barely won ANY of those anti-business crusade cases... He was only able to bully some into settling as an alternative to having to pay hefty legal costs versus Spitzer's unlimited supply of taxpayers' money during his tenure.

And to mention one relevant to this board, remember that payola witchhunt that he has zero jurisdiction in?

At least his career is ruined. Too bad it wasn't for the most egregious violations, but the end result is good.
