Elliott Klein, consulting engineer for Liberman and Magic Broadcasting, died Sunday morning, at the age of 61.

If you recall, Klein a staunch IBOC opponent, filed a petition with the FCC for KATY seeking relief from ongoing and destructive interference caused by the HD Radio operations of KRTH in Los Angeles.

It could be said that the industry just lost an engineer of integrity.
