Elton v Britney - "Hold Me Close, Tony Danza...."

whoops I did it again (David, if I put this in the wrong category, please take this off) - not a Britney fan by any stretch of the imagination - but so happy that Mr. Reginald Kenneth Dwight, along with Ms. Spears has put out a record that has not only "resurrected" "Tiny Dancer" (one of Elton's classics) - but in so doing, he has also resurrected Ms. Spears' career - which, considering what she's been through - she deserves ALL the success and happiness she is getting!
(and if you haven't heard the song yet - here it is - ENJOY! -
)

Did Elton produce this? Doesn't sound like his work.

Ms. Spears resurrected Tiny Dancer and Elton John resurrected Ms. Spears' career in the same way that young fans thanked Kanye West for "discovering" an until then unknown artist named Paul McCartney a few years ago and giving him some exposure. We truly can't thank Kanye enough for finding this unknown fellow named Paul McCartney and being charitable enough to give him some time in the spotlight:

and if you ask ME....Kanye should be really thanking Sir Paul for showing how it should be done!!

not my cup of tea (I'm really old) but I'm happy for her

BTW "Tiny Dancer" was Bernie Taupin's wife Maxine Feibelman who inspired a few of Bernie's songs... remember Bernie was the lyricist, "Elton" wrote the music
