"Elvira's Movie Macabre" E/I??!?

...caught the first episode of the revived Elvira's Movie Macabre on This TV last night. The featured movie was the original Night of the Living Dead. But throughout the thing This TV had the "e/i" bug in the upper right corner of the screen. Now, I know NOTLD was added to the National Film Registry in 1999, and I'm a Cassandra Peterson fan of long standing, but how the hell is This TV getting away with marking either one of them "e/i"??!!?...

Question?
Can "Spice Channel" running a Sasha Grey Marathon run as an e/i and have it fall under Sex education??? ;D

Obviously it's an error. Most markets air it late at night.

Is that what I was watching the other night? A cool looking old movie that would have been a lot better if it didn't have Elvira interupting it to make stupid comments every 30 seconds? Is this the same thing you guys are talking about? I had no idea what that was. I just came across it while channel surfing. I like Elvira. I always have. But I did not like the way they used her in this presentation. Couldn't they just leave the movie alone and have her do some inserts around the movie during commercials instead of actually in the movie? I realize they were going for humor. But what she was saying just wasn't that funny and it kept killing the flow of the movie. Watching her head pop up in the corner of the screen saying unfunny comments was really starting to bug me.

And on that detail, it would not qualify as "E/I" in many areas, as it must air between 7AM and 10PM.

I haven't seen the 1980s Movie Macabre -- was the original version like the new version?

Of course, in the past, some local movie hosts would insert some "tricks" into the film, like adding sound effects, visuals of themselves, jokes, etc.
