ELVIS 1/8/1935

Sorry but IMHO the sound quality on satellite radio is actually worse that AM except with there is lighting. Satellite radio would be more listenable if either the baud rate was increased or just go with a "clean" 10 or 12 K mono. A lot of the target audience of oldies has listened in mono AM.

I remember Eagle 106.7 use to play one Elvis song each set on his birthday,Elvis was at his best when he sang gospel.

I had XM for about 10 yrs. but they did not want to cut me a deal when money got tight so I cancelled.

I, too, have been with them for about 10 years....every time I am up for renewal, I threaten to cancel due to 'cost'. They always work with me....I am paying less than $5 a month currently, which is about the start-up cost from the beginning..in fact, may be cheaper...I just renewed for $48 for the 12months

perhaps, it is who you talk to..I believe those CS reps work on 'commission', or get paid on amount of 'sign-ups'.

I lived in Memphis for the first 18 years of my life and I don't remember hearing much Elvis music ever being played on Memphis radio. We had WLVS 94.3FM (now WKQK 94.1) but that went away in the early 80s. I sure did hear a lot about him when I lived there. Everytime I tell someone I am from Memphis, they immediately say "Elvis' home" or "Graceland."

Every year I tell them I want to cancel, and I get another year for about half off (although the junk fees keep rising).

I have also had them for about 10 years. I do the same. I missed the last renewal date and they automatically charged my card. I have fixed that so it is no longer automatic. I want the reminder so I can call in to the customer retention department.
