"Elvis Golden Decades" on WCBS-FM - 1987

This is to LinoNYC for those of you would love this aircheck. This was a special where WCBS-FM was celebrating 10 years of Elvis' death. Norm N Nite was doing a show counting down the 50 Elvis songs ever made including B-sides and album cuts as well. This is a tremendous find if you are an Elvis fan who used to listen to CBS-FM for years. It was from August 16th, 1987. I bought these two cassette tapes at a flea market last weekend in Stormville. I recorded it from a cassette and I ended posting it online. Here it is in 4 parts.

Thanks for that program, funny thing is that on that day (8-16-87) I was at a flea market in NJ.

Here is a portion of a top-20 countdown hosted by Norn N Night on WNBC I recorded OTA from WNBC-am in approx March 1977. It was recorded RtR but WNBC had awful audio and the tuner was slightly overloaded.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/e7fti7 WNBC Norm N Nite 1965 Countdown (rec 3-77).mp3 Approx 38 min.
