Elvis Music.....

I'm looking for an Elvis song to use in conjunction with "Elvis Week" and the 30th anniversary. If you can send me mp.3 file of "T-R-O-U-B-L-E", it would be appreciated. You can email me at [email protected] and I'll give you an address that can actually accept a larger file. Thanks in advance

Okay, this wasn't what the poster intended, but Jeff Rollins was mentioning Elvis a lot today. When he played Patsy cline's "I Fall to Pieces", he said the Jordanaires were her backup singers. And he did say Elvis was coming up during the next hour because of what this week was.

But that's standards. Also now the homne of "Born Too Late" by The Poni Tails and "To Know Him Is to Love Him" by The Teddy Bears.

Chimp,
The last 2 songs you mentioned have been on THAT playlist since BEFORE 2000.

And all of that has what correlation to my request?

Don't feel bad.

I have found Mr Chimp to be an ego-driven narcissist, who is uber-obsessed with criticizing the two largest syndicators of adult music satellite programming.

The chimp feels the WORLD revolves around "his monkeyship" and any song these syndicators play that is targeted to the demographic THEY seek (and not to him directly) is "bad."

Never mind that the two companies he continually criticizes have combined over 25 years of multiple format 24/7 programming and successful sales experience, and deliver it to most stations on a BARTER basis, no cash required.

Never mind that these two companies have managed to successfully go after the demographics necessary to be successful on over a thousand radio stations, total.

Never mind that the people originally targeted by this format he criticizes are now over 65 years old, and impossible to target for enough national advertising to be profitable.

All he says is, "more bananas please, for the selfish chimp."

Actually, Jeff Rollins was on vacation. I didn't think that sounded like him.

That has nothing to do with anything.

This is the oldies board and I was letting people who like those songs know where they can find them if they are lucky enough to have such a station.

Dial Global is doing a much better job with the music. And according to people here, they're moving in the right direction now.

It's Worthless Classics which is in danger of sounding like a chimp plans their music. That's where I get my name.
