I saw nothing on this Bobo. Might be a mistake.
It's a real bear getting into an arm-wrestling match with BMI. Good luck with that. They have a lot of lawyers with a lot of experience.
I'm not sure why people on this thread and board have a problem with Roger. He's an intelligent, hard-working guy who's good to work with. He and his associates put their asses on the line to keep a format on the air that would have completely disappeared from Cincinnati radio. Yes I've criticized some of the on-air problems. But I still give them credit for their efforts and I believe much of the "crap attacks" on here are undeserved and made by people who have some kind of personal axe to grind.

Ouch. Honestly, i've been in a couple of disputes with the music licensing guys. They don't like to extend the proper MLC credits.microbob said:

Its been years (1994) but at the time, i had an Attorney on staff. We fared quite well.
Who really knows. Usually, these types of things come in 3s (ASCAP, SESAC and BMI).

I was just stating that DJO does not pay for my programming opinion nor do I offer it anymore--
My only job for them is to try to make great radio every day with the Rock and Roll Oldies that are in my log, take some requests, and not suck too badly---
