Emerson, Lake & Palmer

now that WKLU is no more i doubt it.

when bruce quin ran it it probally could.when russ oasis ran it it was not likely.now that it is no more i think it will not be played .

I think Bruce STILL plays them on WHUM. The only place I hear Doris Day these days.

Chief Engineer, I have nothing to add to the thread beyond what I have already posted, other than to say that I loved seeing a portion of the Aaronic Benediction.

Is there a station in Indy where one might still hear a song by Emerson, Lake & Palmer? Such as "Lucky Man"?

Yes, there are two.

WFBQ and WTTS both play ELP. Each does "Karn Evil 9", "Lucky Man" and "Still...You Turn Me On". WTTS also plays "From The Beginning".

I believe in addition to Emerson, Lake, and Palmer and Doris Day, WITT also airs plainchants from the 13th century.

There might be such a thing as too much variety ::)

I remember when WFBM announced "Dean Martin your swimming pool is on fire." Back then there were 3 formats. Pop including everything, country, and tan town. The first two were the most populous. A few classical only stations but not enough to really be a divergent culture. There were a few MOR stations, like WRFM New York.
Radio today has become many formats but each format duplicates another.
