Emerson will get translator in Gloucester (acc to Fybush)

WERS in, this time in Gloucester though I'd think they'd already reach Cape Ann half decently
(but who knows)

WUMB rebroadcast on that same translator for a number of months last year. I wondered what had happened to that. It was actually registered at the time as a translator of WNEF Newburyport, which itself is a 100% WUMB rebroadcast.

You can see the Boston skyline from various points in Gloucester...shouldn't WFNX be booming there, even with a directional antenna? And how did they allow a translator on the first-adjacent channel anyway?

Simple. The translator is not inside WFNX's protected contour.
