EMF Good Stewardship Call letter Changes

For the first time in history EMF will not have to change call letters.

WIKL is Indy's K love.

WKLU is K LUve.

You're probably right. WKLU is fitting for K-Love.

I kind of wonder whether WIKL will flip to Air 1 or just serve as EMF's K-Love affiliate for west-central Indiana.

Wonder if this means WIKL will stay at the Filmore site and abandon the CP for northwestern Morgan county.

I keep hearing Southern Gospel is in the future and Air 1 will be on yet another station coming soon.

Has anyone heard when EMF will upgrade the K-LOVE stations in Rochester and Plymouth,IN ??
I'm the local engineer for those two & nothing has been said to me, but then, the engineer is always the last to know.

Not when My Heavenly Father calls me to duty north of 40...

Bob, if you're into setting up and aiming or repairing 1.2 meter kU band satellite dishes let me know. May be able to find some Heavenly cash for you!

They may never get built. The CP for Plymouth expires in 2012, the one for Rochester on October 26th, 2010. If K-Love is trying to get into the South Bend market via Plymouth the proposed signal is fringe in South Bend and Elkhart. (IIRC the pattern was even more directional at first attempt but I'm not sure technology could have achieved the pattern they claimed.)

Having them on the books did block out potential non-comm applications in the South Bend area.
