KMJR-FM at the time of purchase is at $432,000.

Educational Media Foundation has agreed to acquire 996kW Regional Mexican KMJR-FM (La Caliente 98.3), licensed to Odem, Texas and serving the Corpus Christi market, from Tejas Broadcasting Ltd. for $432,000. EMF, headed by Alan Mason, owns and operates more than 250 Christian stations nationwide, as well as the Air1, K-Love and K-Love Classics networks. Tejas Broadcasting is headed by James Anderson and also owns KLHB-FM and KLTG-FM in Corpus Christi.

There is no 996 kw station in the US.

KMJR is 100 kw at 810 feet. It had pretty low ratings and was not in the top 10 billers in that smaller market.

Tejas continues to peel off stations from their cluster. $432,000? This price is going to be a GIANT wake up call to station operators trying to sell in Corpus Christi. (Of which there are several)
