EMF to Acquire KSIQ

Last edited:
I wonder if EMF is going to negotiate the Mexican stations frequencies (XMORE 98.9, XHTY 99.7, XHLTN 104.5, XHFG 107.3, XHRST 107.7) in order to increase power and relocate to Mt. Soledad or full power class be on San Miguel Mtn? Remeber FCC requires .6 Mhz channel spacing, while Mexican SCT is loose on channel spacing.

-and that the price tag for that particular deal is $1 million.[/QUOTE]

So does anybody think they made much profit of this move? What was the station worth in the Imperial Valley and how much do you think they spent to move it?

Another commercial CHR radio station switches to AIR-1! Commercial radio is going down the tubes. What's next? Kiss 108 in Boston siwtching to K-LOVE?

This station was barely operating and was obviously moved to SD to be sold. No loss.
